North and West provide emergency accommodation for persons who become homeless, many of whom require very specific care and support. Our schemes are therefore purpose built to incorporate the particular design requirements to suit the needs of the occupants.

The
Association provides accommodation with support/counselling where appropriate
to residents who are either alcohol dependent, coping with an addiction or persons
who are attempting to address their addiction.

Accommodation
& Training for 16-25 Year Olds
North and West also provides accommodation and training for 60 young people
between the ages of 16 25 at the Strand Foyer, Derry. Here, the fundamental
aim is to assist disadvantaged young people achieve self-reliance and independence
through support, training and employment opportunities.
