Sheltered Accommodation for Older People
North and West provides sheltered housing for older people who require an easily managed home with both security and independence. Our sheltered schemes provide tenants with their own self-contained flat or bungalow in a development which also has a communal living room, hairdressing room and self-service laundry.

Each scheme has a Manager who can be contacted, through an emergency call system. When the Scheme Manager is off-duty, calls are transferred to Helpline where the necessary assistance will be requested, thereby ensuring 24 hour emergency assistance for our tenants.

Housing with Care for Older People    
For more frail older people the Association also provides housing with care schemes where 24 hour assistance is provided by trained staff. Here residents have their own en-suite room with facilities for making light snacks in addition to the meals which we provide communally.

Nursing Care   
Where more intensive care is required North and West provides nursing accommodation which is registered with the Health Board. We employ trained nursing staff to deliver the required care to each resident.
