Mental ill-Health

North and West Housing provides supported housing for persons with mental ill-health, many of whom formerly resided in institutional care. The accommodation includes group homes and residential housing schemes aimed at reducing dependency and improving the life skills of the residents.

We have schemes in residential areas of Londonderry, Omagh and Enniskillen. Each scheme has qualified staff trained in the needs of the mentally ill and 24 hour staff cover is provided. Our staff closely liaise with the Community Mental Health team and we provide individual rehabilitation programmes for our residents.

The Association also provides self-contained accommodation for those requiring only minimal support.
