| Job Purpose: |
To provide an efficient and effective catering service to all persons involved in the scheme.
To set menus and to provide meals which reflect the nutritional and dietary needs of frail elderly residents.
To undertake the ordering and stocktaking of catering supplies.
To ensure all practices, equipment and standards adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and Environmental Health Regulations.
To ensure that confidentiality is maintained in all issues relating to the scheme and the Association.

| Essential Criteria: |
NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent or City & Guilds 706/707 parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
OR One years experience as a professional cook
Must be willing to commence NVQ level 2 in catering on appointment. |
