| Job Purpose: |
To work with other members of staff to meet the care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
To encourage residents to make the scheme into a mutually supportive environment for themselves, friends and relatives.

| Essential Criteria: |
Completion of a relevant qualification in the care of adults ; e.g. BTEC Social Care; NVQ II , Health & Social Care (OR) 1 years experience employed as a carer, either paid or unpaid in a formal setting in the care of adults.
