Brief Job Description

• Housekeepers: To ensure that the scheme remains clean and tidy so that we can continue to provide tenants and members of the public with high levels of service.

• Cooks: To provide efficient and effective catering services to all people, to set menus and provide meals, ordering and stock taking. Adhere to Environmental Health Regulations.

• Laundry Assistants: To ensure that the laundry requirements of the scheme are met so that we can continue to provide residents with high levels of service.

• Kitchen Assistant: To provide support to the cook and ensure the efficient running of meal times. Help with food preparation and domestic duties.

• Residential Workers: To work with other members of staff to meet the care needs of tenants and residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

• Care Assistants: To work with other members of staff to meet the care needs of tenants and residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

• Scheme Managers: To assume responsibility for the day to day running of the scheme and ensure as far as possible, the safety and well being of the residents. Participate in support planning. To undertake and ensure the proper administration, management and maintenance of the scheme in accordance with the Association’s standards and procedures.

• Support Workers: To work with other members of staff to meet the care needs of residents with alcohol and drug misuse issues in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence

• Staff Nurses/Residential Officers: To ensure that the provision of care is appropriate to the social, emotional  and physical needs of each resident

Essential Information

Salary
Housekeepers £6.31 per hour
Cooks £7.19 to £7.80 per hour
Laundry Assistants £6.31 per hour
Kitchen Assistant £6.31 per hour
Residential Workers £6.64 per hour
Residential Officers: £19,621 to £22,958
Scheme Managers: £11,550 to £14,608
Support Workers: £8.41 to £9.94

Annual Leave entitlement
Equivalent to 4 weeks annual leave and 12 statutory days.  Your entitlement will be pro-rated in your first year of employment.
